Question 1- Media Evaluation

In our media film we've been following the genre of thriller films; within our thriller film instead of challenging the stereotypes, we decided, to use the ideas

portrayed in thriller films and develope them.

we did this in a number of ways.

In this shot we've used a high angle, to enhance the idea of our main character being vulnerable. we've also filmed her walking alone to emphasise this idea and to create suspense for the audience.

We also used a fish eye lens on some of our shots as it is something that is not seen in normal thriller movies and creates an intense atmosphere for the audience. It also allows the audience to believe that in

this situation, something isn't right, and that something more is going to happen.

within our film we also used a song called 'angel' by massive attack, the use of this track, develops the convention of a normal thriller film as it creates a dramatic atmosphere; it also helps to create suspense as its been placed on the movie to draw attention, when the beat kicks in.
